Grünberger Strasse, front house, 1st floor
Apartment size: 35, Room size: 22, Looking for both: 2
Our apartment in this late 19th-century building has large windows. On the 1st floor of a south oriented front house, it was recently renovated and is full of light, even in winter. We took special care to showcase the work of young or cult designers we like, as you can see in the materials and colors used to transform this living space. We wanted to give it a “feel good” vibe. The apartment has a brand new white lacked kitchen, and all you need to cook gastronomic or on-the-go meals: an oven, a microwave, pans and pots. It comes equipped with Limoges porcelain ware, French iconic glasses, sharp ceramic knives, and of course, coffee and tea machines. The apartment offers a large double bed, roomy closets, a wash-dryer, a flatscreen LED-TV with cable featuring international channels, and free wifi (100Mb).
About the Neighbourhood:
Our lovely apartment is nestled in the highly-prized area of Boxhagener kiez in Friedrichshain, Quarter of the former East Berlin. Old-timers and newcomers appreciate its mix of urban bustle and suburban-style calm, in a neighbourhood thriving with boutique workshops, shops and restaurants – all close to the property. It is just a short walk to the metro line U5 taking you to Alexanderplatz in 6 minutes or to the very practical tramway M10 line crossing Prenzlauerberg towards Nord Bahnhof and the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof).
